Do you have a secret deep down inside that nobody else knows about? Something that you’ve buried for years and years, too scared or embarrassed to tell. Or maybe you’ve just kept it for so long that you just can’t figure out how to say it. Well now there is a website where you can share your secret anonymously. It’s an ongoing community art project. People all around the world share their secrets on one side of a homemade postcard that they mail to Maryland where it is posted on a webblog called PostSecret.
It’s an amazing compilation of little quarky notes, secrets and sayings. Take a browse through the online collection, it’s quite revealing.
This postcard struck me as particularly thought provoking. I’ve wondered about whether there are people who actually survived 9-11 but just decided to disappear. Perhaps it’s true. Visit PostSecret.
