Tranquility Base. The New House
After 9 months in San Diego (I know… 9 months!) we’ve finally moved out of our temporary apartment and into a new place. A few weeks ago we ran across the perfect house. A sprawling 2500 square foot house with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths situated high on a cliff overlooking all of Mission Valley, just north of downtown San Diego. It’s just a few miles from our old apartment so we are still in the same zip code and still near all of our favorite hang-outs in Hillcrest. The house has a huge yard, multiple patios and decks and lots and lots of windows and open space. I work from home, so I’m in pure heaven now. In order to get the house we decided to join forces with 2 of our friends as roommates, which is fine because there is plenty of room and we all hang out constantly anyway. This is going to be the ultimate entertaining house! lol
I’ve posted a few pictures of the new house below (before we moved in). It’s an older house but with a little tender loving care, some paint and our extensive collection of photography up on the walls, it will be transfomed into a comfy estate.
The move, as always, was a total pain in the ass, which is part of the reason why I haven’t posted much lately. Hopefully now, once I’m caught up on work, I’ll be able to keep up with the rants and raves of my daily life… as if anyone actually gives a crap.
Ok. Here are the pictures. I’ll post some more down the road when we get things organized.
