A new service called SoonR has been launced that lets you connect to your desktop PC via your mobile phone. SoonR connects your mobile phone to your Skype account, Outlook, and remote PCs. There’s no software to install on your phone but you must have a data plan. Once you install the small desktop component, you can access files, photos & documents stored on your computer remotely… even when your PC is off (for an extra charge). The basic account is free right now.

Wednesday, May 17, is LIVESTRONG Day!Â
The Lance Armstrong Foundation will lead a group of advocates from each state to raise awareness on Capitol Hill about the issues faced by the 10 million Americans affected by cancer.
Volunteers across the country will also host LIVESTRONG Day activities in their local communities in support of people affected by cancer.
Wherever you are, you can make a difference in the fight against cancer. Here are several ways to participate on LIVESTRONG Day:
- Wear yellow and encourage your family, friends, neighbors and colleagues to do the same. Official LIVESTRONG clothing and merchandise may be purchased online in the LIVESTRONG Store.
- Participate in a LIVESTRONG Day event or activity near you.
- Send an e-card to your family, friends, neighbors or colleagues and encourage them to join the team in the fight against cancer.
- Take part in a virtual LIVESTRONG Day activity -Â Blog Against Cancer.
- Send a message to your members of Congress and encourage them to make cancer a national priority.
Together, we can affect positive change in the fight against cancer.

I ran across this post at Adam Kalsey’s blog, kalsey.com. It’s funny as hell. 80 people dressed in blue polo shirts and khaki pants and went into the Best Buy store in NYC. Dressed almost identical to the store’s employees, their mission was to be helpful but not claim to work there. As one of the employees stated, it was very "Thomas Crown Affair".
They filmed the event using both hidden cameras that they brought, as well as the demo cameras from the store’s actual electronics section.
I’m not sure what the point of the whole thing was, which maybe IS the point, but it’s hilarious.
