So this is very bizzare… my brother pointed this out to me the other day. This website called The Uber-Review has a post about dancing cell phones and the photo they decided to use for the post is a picture of me! The photo is one I did for my old self-portrait-a-day project at 50prime365.com. While I guess it’s flattering that they would use a picture of me and one that I took, it’s also slightly annoying since there’s no link back to my site or even a simple photo credit to me as the photographer. It seems it would be a common courtesy especially since my photos are clearly not public stock images.

Hi Joe,
My name is Vic and I am the editor of the Uber-Review. In regards to the picture, the picture was taken from an image search from google or yahoo for the term dancing cell phone. I apologize for not giving you the proper credit for picture. We link back to the source for our stories and I do not know what happened with this story. I can understand your anger when someone takes something that is yours and does not give credit. I have added full credit at the post but I will remove the picture
or the post completely if you wish. Again, I would like to say, I’m sorry.

Wow, quick reply Vic!
Thanks for the comment and the photo credit. If I was that concerned over the usage, I would have contacted you directly to have it removed, so no worries at all. Thanks for taking the time to follow-up.

Hey Joe. Vic was correct. A Google Image search for ‘dancing cell phone’ brings your image up. It was the first listing no less!
