I finally got around to posting the pictures (the few that I took) of our Christmas trip to Loon Mountain, New Hampshire. Most of the pics are of my nieces. The images are posted to my Flickr account. Just click the collage below to view the slide show.
Well first of all Merry Christmas to everyone! Just a quick update on the where, what and when.
I’m currently up in Lincoln, New Hampshire at Loon Mountain skiing with my family. I arrived here last Friday and am heading back to San Diego on Thursday. I rented a nice 5 bedroom condo across the street from the ski lodge for my family so we could all take off for the holidays and escape the usual chaos. So far it’s been a great trip. Renting the place was somewhat of a selfish move, I must admit, since now that they are all assembled in one place, I don’t have to drive around town visiting each one separately 
Loon Mountain is a really nice skiing area in New Hampshire. West coast people wouldn’t quite think it was that spectacular since the highest elevation is really only about 1800 feet, but it’s fun none-the-less. There really isn’t any snow yet this year but it’s been cold enough for them to make snow at night so only about 5 or 6 of the trails are open. It still makes for a few decent runs.
I’ll post a few more pictures to my Flickr account (which I still need to renew). I’ll make a note here when I post them. Also, I FINALLY bought a new compact digital camera to replace the one that got stolen a year ago on Halloween. I ended up getting the new Nikon S7c. It actually has Wi-Fi built right into it so I can post and email pictures directly right from the camera… it’s really pretty cool and so far I’m impressed with how it works.
Here’s a little ski condo fireside fun… nothing like a fire, a little Sammy Adams and New England duck (whatever that means).
