I’m not really a huge American Idol fan but a few of the auditions this year moved me. Good voice, good song and good looks… that’s my criteria

Corteo in Italian is a joyous procession, a festive parade… in this case imagined by a clown. Tonight me and my roommate Dylan went to see the new Cirque Du Soleil show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. It was opening night. Dylan got 2 free tickets from a promoter who is coming into Rich’s, the nightclub Dylan manages, on Saturday night to promote the new show. If was a great show, as always. If you haven’t been to a Cirque show yet, I highly recommend it. They have certainly redefined the definition of a circus. The acrobats and stunts they do just defy gravity. It’s amazing… not to mention the dancers are quite sexy 
I figured out that I *think* this is the 5th Cirque show I’ve seen. One at Disney World in FL, two in Vegas (one of them twice), one in Seattle and now this one.
The show runs through February 10 and tickets are available online at the Cirque Du Soleil website, so there’s still time!
A few weeks behind on processing these pics, but finally got it done. These pics are from my trip to Playa del Carmen and Mexico City. I was in Playa del Carmen (about 45 minutes south of Cancun) for 5 days and Mexico City for 4 days.

Here are a few pictures from Halloween week in San Diego. Halloween on a Wednesday sucks! There are parties the weekend before and on the actual day of Halloween. It’s a lot of fun though The pictures are from 2 different clubs: The Flame where we had a Pimp’s and Ho’s party and costume contest. I hosted the contest, which is why my costume looked so damn fly!! haha
The other pictures are from Rich’s nightclub on Saturday night. There was another costume contest that I also hosted. I dressed as a zombie along with about 5 other friends.
I’m missing pictures from the Wednesday night of actual Halloween. I didn’t carry my camera around that night… mostly because I didn’t want to remember the costume I was in haha. But if I can roundup any pictures from friends then I’ll post them for fun.

I’m back in good Ol’San Diego now! Playa del Carman was beautiful and Mexico City was awesome. I’ll post some pictures and video as soon as I get them organized. The only down side is that I managed to pick up a bit of a cold… Probably from the altitude and smog (Mexico City is at roughly 7000 ft. up)… Of course it could also be the clubs and drinking ha!
I’m off to Cancun in the morning for about 4 days then over to Mexico City for another 4 or 5 days. Margaritas, quesadillas, sand and surf! I can’t wait to relax for a bit. I’ll take some pics and video and post them here when I get a chance.
